What is School Alive!?

School Alive! is an new innovative method of engaging children and young adults in the excitement of learning by bringing the actual Literary and Historical people they are studying to life.  Using a team of highly educated and trained performers, School Alive! provides a menu of options for teachers to motivate their class to ask questions about people and topics that can seem stale for both teachers and students. 

Teachers interested in this program can have any number of characters visit their class, whether from our menu of character choices or as a specific request. Performers arrive in character and dressed accordingly, to spend an entire class period with the students.  Each character gives a short interactive presentation about his/herself and then opens the floor to questions.  You will be amazed at how quickly students' hands are raised and how few of them want to leave the classroom when the bell has rung.
